I've been wondering if adding milk to my transparent soap will result in a nice white color? Or would it at least get me closer to a white color so that I may use less of a white dye? It would be nice if I could cut down on costs that way.

I make my transparent soap from scratch, using Catherine Failors "Making Transparent Soap" book. Would I add the milk after adding the ethanol alcohol and sugar solution....or would I wait until the rebatching phase to add it?

Thanks for any help you could give me!

Adding Milk to the Soap will definitely the soap with the white colour. Adding Milk with also results in the great fragrance.
