M&P and CP soap

Out of curiosity, I was wondering if anyone has ever made cold process soap and also used melt and pour for either swirls or other embellishment ideas. My guess is that the lye would destroy the mp soap??? Thanks in advance

I have not personally done it, but I have seen where other soapers have done it. So it can be done.
