Is this DOS?

Hi, I need some help!

I made a lemon and poppyseed soap a week ago, I cut it yesterday and saw a orange hue all around the edges. Is this DOS? I always thought it appeared in spots rather than around the edges

Or is it something else, maybe to do with the essential oils? I used Lemon and May Chang essential oils

Any help much appreciated

Looks more like a gel ring.

DOS would look something like this. Very obviously orange dots of rancid oil. When you smell that area, you can smell the rancid oil compared to the non DOS areas.

Some soap does get a colour 'rind' such as this. It should cure out within a few days.

My soap here still needs to be cleaned up, but here’s one that demonstrates a pretty dramatic color rind with an almost, but not quite, complete gel in the interior. As you can see the rind is pale pink. Yep, I got silicone rash also.
