Hello all. I am a newbie to this forum. I just started reading your posts (enjoying them too) and have been making soaps for about 2 years.

I make simple, non-complex recipes that have been family, friend and coworker favorites for a while now.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to sell in a farmers market (legally)? if this has been asked million times prior I apologize could someone reply the link if possible. Thank you so much for your time.

Hello and welcome. I’m from Michigan as well. Different markets have their own requirements. However, here you just need to register for a tax ID # and though not necessarily required you should have insurance. If you have a business name it needs to be registered with the City Clerks office. They run a search on the name and then issue documentation that it’s your name.
