When using the calculator, and individual molds, do you calculate the total of each mold individually (4oz X 12) or use the dimensions of each mold (3in X 2.5in X 1.2in X 12) to get the best calculation of total batch weight? I have been using loaf molds & recently switched to individual so just wanted the best info possible.
Thanks in advance šŸ˜Š

Math, I know, right? Anyway, LSG's reposted Paul's old post. For non-round molds (squares and rectangles), it's still the same:
height x width x length x .4 = ounces of oil needed.
I'm not sure what you mean by
(3in X 2.5in X 1.2in X 12)
An individual mold has 3 dimensions.

I think she means that there are 12 individual compartments or molds with the dimensions of 3" X 2.5" X 1.2"
In that case, @K_G79 you can just do the same thing you do for your log molds, but multiply the volume of one of the cavities by the number of cavities/molds.
So, it would look like 3x2.5x1.2 then times 12 (or whatever is the number of cavities) - if that makes sense. :)
Of course, yea old water method is just swell too!
