Hello, my name is Cheryl, I am a "newbie" soapmaker. I live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in VA. I recently took a week long soap making class at the John C Campbell Folk Art School in NC. Now I am hooked on soap! I have about 15 pounds of soap I made this week curing that I hope to sell in time for Mother's Day. I find soap making very relaxing and am having so much fun trying out recipes I've gotten from books and adding my own twist to them. I hope to learn lots more from this forum and share some recipes.

Hi and welcome to this forum.

Please do loads of research before considering selling and make sure you've had your soap well tested. I think it's recommended that you wait until you've had some soap that's at least a year old, to see how it lasts.

There's loads written on this forum for you to check out!

Enjoy!
