I'm new to SoapMakingForum.com—and soap making in general, but I believe I am in possession of some excellent ideas for the form, use and packaging of bar soap.
I'm a young designer (architecture) and have already made drawings, written specifications and created samples. I've also looked into the process of obtaining an patent, and have already undergone preliminary patent searches and consultations with lawyers.
But I don't know where to go from here! Might anybody here have any insight on starting a soap business (from scratch) with protected intellectual property? Or perhaps recommendations on larger/existing companies that I can contact to work with? Has anyone licensed ideas revolving around soap before?
