Just wondering, how do you all dry out your citrus zest?

i made a soap with meyer lemon zest (really fine, i zested it myself) but i did not dry it. is it necessary?

I did too. Infused it in the oil I used to soap first, zested it right into the oil and heated to 170F. Then I used the zest in the soap too. I have a meyers lemon tree so what is to lose? The soap is fine, smells nice. It has this baked goods smell to it though. Can't wait to try it.
