FO vs EO in terms of amount needed

When using fragrance oils, what is the general amount you use? For example, for a 3 lb. mixture of soap, how many ounces of fragrance oil would you use? Typically, do you use less of an essential oil or more than a fragrance oil?

I typically use .8 oz PPO. I plug that value into the soap calc and it tells me the total weight of oils to use.

If I want to use a blend of EOs, I go to this calc:

There are plenty of blends of all kinds. Some have two EOs some have what looks like 12!

Thanks! I made a strawberry scented soap tonight and went with 1 oz ppo. We'll see how that turns out.

For CP- I never go under 1oz ppo unless the fragrance is obnoxious. If I'm using Essential Oils- for most of them I have to use more than that. I like fragrant soap.
