I finally tried making candles for the first time. I actually winged it because it had been awhile since I read up on things. Candles came out fine considering. My problem wis the double boiler. I asked my mother she said the water in the big pot does not touch the small pot as in a standard D.B set up. I am using small pot inside of big pot. Book I am reading to refresh say water should come up the sides of the inter pot about 2/3 to 1/2. I tried this and the inter pan just started to float. I as they say "Don't Work" Which is right and what is right. Thanks for any help :!:
