Does heat do anything to Eo's?

I ask because I've had the crockpot going for 24 hours making bone broth and I just noticed it was on the counter but under the shelf where I keep my EO's and small jars of base oils. The shelf and jars are all mildly warm, but not hot. Does this harm anything? Quicken rancidity or anything like that?

All oils and EO/FO's are better off if kept cool, heat can make them spoil/go bad/loose potency. I keep my EO/FO in the fridge.
