Does liquid coconut oil work the same as the oil that gets hard?

Fractionated coconut oil can be used in soap, but it is very expensive. SoapCalc has an option for fractionated coconut oil. It has a higher SAP value than 76 * or 96 * melt coconut oil.

I've never used liquid But I have some. I'll just use it on my griddle.
