Aloe Butter?

I have an opportunity to get in on a pre-buy for aloe butter for about $10.70/lb...which I think is a good price...

Has anyone else used this? Would I use it just like any other soft butter like shea?

Any suggestions?

I make my own shealoe butter. I like the texture of it a lot. Best of luck. :wink: I don't know about just aloe butter.

I was reading that aloe butter is not a 'natural' butter like shea is. It was developed for purely for cosmetic purposes and is actually a mixture of aloe extract in a coconut fatty fraction.

Yes, I found the same info when I did a bit more searching. Still looks interesting to try but I'm holding off on it for now.
