I've watched many videos but I'm not sure I've ever heard anyone say exactly what % of their batch they set aside for the white. I'm ready to try my first ombre pour and I just want to make sure I get it right. How do you handle your ombre? TIA for any advice.

When I first started making CP soap, I just bought my lye through Bramble Berry. Eventually, I realized that I was overpaying so I swapped to ordering either Belle Chemical or Florida Laboratories from Wal-Mart. What is your go-to lye?

I did stick blend, as usual, and I burped the blender. I didn't do anything differently than I normally do. I poured at a light to medium trace. I did forget to turn the oven off for maybe 10-15 minutes after the soap went in but other than that, I followed the same process I always do. Thanks...
