Our water softener is not working, we also have very hard water. Is it ok to soap with hard water? We have a reverse ossmosis filter and I always have used that water in the past for soaping, but it was softened. Should I just got pick up some distilled water to use for now?

I have never figured in FO into soap calc. How does it work with the safe percentages with curtain fragrance oils? Some I want to use say they are safe at 100% and some only at 3 %. I will say that I am bad at math and I rely on soapcalc. Not sure how this is figured in. Thanks

My hubby made me a wood mold! The first time I lined and used it I must not have done the best job, some of the soap got onto the wood. What is the easiest way to get them lined? Is there anything you can do with a wood mold so you don;t have to line it every time? Just wondering. Thanks!

I found some coconut milk on sale at the store. I want to try a coconut milk recipe. Any tips? I have successfully made goats milk soap before with the split method. Should I freeze the coconut milk first?
