    Diluting for foamer bottles

I have diluted my liquid soap as normal, which is a thick syrupy consistency. How much more water will I need to use it in foamer bottles? For reference, I'm using 8oz foamer bottles; will I have to do 100% dilution or more? I don't want to clog up the foamer. Thanks!

Tents vs umbrellas for outdoor markets

Thank you for all the responses! I did end up getting a tent at a great price from a friend that no longer needed hers. As to investing and being serious about my business, I assure you I am. As it happens, I was temporarily short on funds from paying my seasonal booth fee and my liability...

Tents vs umbrellas for outdoor markets

I don't have the funds right now to purchase a tent for my markets this summer. Would a large umbrella set through the middle of the table work? I have an adjustable one that I can move to keep the shade where I need it. Thoughts?

    The Un-Challenge March 2018

Here is my song-inspired soap. The song is Secret Door by Evanescence. Here are the lyrics: Turn out the lights Feed the fire till my soul breathes free My heart is high as the waves above me Don't need to understand Too lost to lose Don't fight my tears, 'cause they feel so good And I, I...

    Can you plane M&P?

I made some melt and pour soap, and I wanted the embed to be level with the top of the soap. However, I poured too much and got some of the base soap on top of the embed. Is it possible to plane it? If so, how would I do that? If not, any suggestions on how to save this design?

    Using hops in beer soap

Thanks! Yes, I didn't embed the hops too deeply, so they should be fairly easy to brush off before use.

Any Interest in a Casual Challenge?

I think I already picked a song! Still have to work out how I'm going to incorporate it into a soap.

    Using hops in beer soap

Here is the result of my olive oil infused with hops, oatmeal stout beer, honey ale/oatmeal stout FO blend, and hops on top. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It will darken significantly in the coming days.

Any Interest in a Casual Challenge?

I love the idea of a soap inspired by a song with special significance to me. I have so many ideas! I'm totally in.

What soapy mistake have you made today?

I had placed a box of fragrance oils on top of the dryer for a few minutes yesterday afternoon. My husband decided to put a load in the washer, and must have knocked it in. It was a 4oz bottle, so I'm not sure how I didn't notice it when I switched everything to the dryer. Thankfully it was...

What soapy mistake have you made today?

I was making a custom batch today. My customer knew what scent and additives he wanted, but gave me free reign on the colors and design. He's a Carolina Panthers fan, so I decided to make the team colors with a silver mica line. Everything was poured and ready to put to bed, when suddenly the...

    Bath bomb recipe help

Thank you, but I'm just looking to tweak my own recipe rather than replacing it entirely. By the way, what in the world is red turkey oil?

    Bath bomb recipe help

I've had several batches turn out great, but the past few have been crumbly/won't stay together. In fact, I just picked up a bomb I made about 16 hours ago (drying in a cool dry area), and it exploded in my hand. Here is my recipe: 1 cup baking soda 1/2 cup citric acid 1/2 cup kaolin clay...
