    i prefer Room temperature lower temp will trace slower, so dont need to rush i usually pre mix my oil at previous day at large batch

    trial and error try put 0.1%-5% ppo and see the result and decide which recipe is the best for you adding too much sometimes can makes it discolor

    wow 6months.... have you double check your recipe? adding enough lye my pomace OO or EVOO soap quite hard after 24-48 hours try to add 2-3% beeswax or salt (or sugar???) it will help hardden your soap

    @judymoody and @krissy i want to sell my soap, so i need to pack i firmly. if i let any open area, im afraid my customer think my soap aint clean or hygienic and i want my customer able to see my soap so i dont think muslin bags is a good idea i found interesting gadget to seal...

    you can lining it using paper or just use silicone i prefer using silicone, i can be creative put a logo or a texture last time im using Silicone RTV 683, its very easy to use

    Doesn't pure olive oil soaps take long to set?

    i have 8 weeks of 100% olive oil it turn out very white and very moist. love it use pomace.... cheaper, same result as EVOO
