looking for a Arizona soaper to refer friends too.

I have a few people that are looking for local (AZ) soap. I am just making soap for fun but have learned too much to let my Facebook friends buy less than quality soap online. Sooo, I am hoping for a couple of AZ soapers that sell good quality soap that I can refer to.

    Let's Talk About Beer...again

I would think there would be slight differences with the different styles of beers as there are different ingredients added. But this is just a theory; I have only used a dark beer. It would be a neat experiment.

What's the deal with beer soap?

I love my beer soap. I made it at first for the novelty but not anymore. The bubbles are amazing and I love the way my skin feels after using it. I used Guinness beer and I still have a slightly nutty/barley smell. My Dad loves it too and he doesn’t like the other soaps I have made (by far...

    Goat's Milk

I use GM in soap also. I found someone that will let me "pay" for boarding and goat feed and in trade she brings me goat’s milk. I have heard of a few small dairy goat farms setting up a co-op and having the co-op "own" the goats and the members then pay for the boarding and feed. That way...

This is what I found on a bing search, sounds amazing. Cosmetic use: Various parts of Moringa olifera have cosmetic value. Cognis Laboratoires Serobiologiques team developed PuricareTM and Purisoft TM, two active ingredients based on botanical peptides from the seeds of Moringa olifera tree...

Gonna try a beer soap today, Any precautions?

I used a Guinness and added a little cocoa powder to make it the color of dark beer. I was warned to boil it to remove the alcohol it avoid a lye volcano. Mine is two months old now and still smells a little malty. But I'm sure that will go away with time. Good luck...

    My First Beer Soap pics

My first beer soap made with Guinness. We had an Arizona beer week so I made this soap in honor of one of my favorite beer memories. I took a trip to Ireland and drank the best glass of Guinness I have ever had at the 360 bar on top of the Guinness brewery overlooking the city of Dublin...

Looking for a dark brown color?

I used cocoa in my chocolate peanut butter cup layered soap. In the gelled soap (a loaf pan cpom) it turned dark brown/blackish. The remainder of the batch was in single bar molds cooled on the counter; they did not gel and were a light warm color of milk chocolate. I'm very new to soap making...
