    Carrier oils in Soap

I have a recipe for a bastille soap with olive oil and coconut oil, and after learning how to use soap calc i decided i want to make my own bastille soap, but add a few extra carrier oils. If i reduced the olive oil from 80% to 70% and added 5 extra carrier oils at 2% each is that pointless?

    Looking for Yeast

Im wondering if anyone knows where in the UK or Europe where i can get yeast for skincare? The yeast might be called Faex, Beta Glucan Yeast, or its inci name as Saccharomyces Cerevisiae. Ive searched google and haven't found anywhere that you can buy it but there's plenty of articles on the...

Lip Balm Calculations / PIF Records

Ive started making lip balms and i made up my own recipe in grams, which gives me around 14 tubes or pots (if they are 5ml each). Ive read about the CPSR's. Labelling & Selling CP & M&P

I wanted to ask a question about selling soap. In the future, if i sell cold process soap, the ingredients label is simple, especially if you are making bastille soap. Its 5 or 6 ingredients you list. I really like melt & pour too, its amazing for creativity, but on the stephenson website, the...

    Rasta Soap

This was the 2nd batch of soap i ever made. It was a 3 layer Rasta Soap, using melt & pour, with a Hemp base. Green was Patchouli, Yellow was Lemongrass, and Red was Geranium. Because it was my first time making a layered soap, i didn't use any isopropyl alcohol, and the layers stuck well...

    Yo! from Glasgow (Scotland)

I just joined because i started making melt & pour soap. So far, ive made a few decent bars, and i have a million ideas, so ive invested in the basic equipment. I recently started looking at ingredients and found articles on sls & sles, so need to do more research on that. Eventually i want to...
