    Bath Bombs...UPDATE

Try lowering your liquids-i.e. water, oils, etc. Warting usually occurs when there is too much liquid.

    Bath Bomb goo....

Maybe if you lessen the oil amount and use lighter oils, that will elimate the problem of the bomb being "too greasy". I use either grapeseed or apricot kernel in my bombs and the after-bath feeling is wonderful.

    bath bomb speckles....GRRR!!

It depends on the colorant. It looks like the color is clumping with some of the bath bomb mixture and is not being distributed evenly. Are you mixing with your hands? The colorants I used in the past blended beautifully and the colors I'm using now has speckles, but hey, I think it adds...

    Some of my recent soaps!

How did you mix your oxides and ultramarines? In the past, I would mix the oxides and ultra with 2-3 tablespoons of oil from the batch. After I reached trace I would pour some of the soap in with the color and mix well and then add the colored soap to the batch. (I hope that makes sense) I...

Why does my soap give that "squeeky clean" feeling

I think there is a misconception regarding the job of "natural soap". Soap is used to clean, not to moisturize. Although, natural soap is or can be less drying than "detergent/commercial" bars it is not a moisturizer for your skin. Soap is a wash off product, it shouldn't be expected for the...

    Olive Oil Soap Question

Did your batch gel? From my experience with certain recipes, if the soap does NOT gel, it will take a few extra days to harden up enough to cut. Also, judging from your recipe, you used around about 3lbs of base oils-not including your sodium hydroxide solution-adding 3 oz of fragrance seems...
