hi everyone, In the past 4 days I was struggling to make this perfect lotion, smooth....runny lotion, instead I'm ending up with this very airy lotion, which looks like its not emulsified enough, but if i add more ewax it will end up too thick. Please if anyone had experienced this problem...

After adding Optiphen plus my lotion( usually next day) looks like its separating, which I hate! My recipe is 75% water 15% oil 5-6% ewax Also I'm trying to make a 'runny' lotion, but instead of runny looks very airy!Can anyone can tell me how to fix it? I really need to fix this...

Hi everyone, I have been making lotions for quite a while, and every time i would make one my cream would curdle!Turns out it was my preservative!( I hope:)I was using Optiphen Plus and now wondering what preservative would be compatible with emulsifing wax? ANY SUGGESTIONS?I need something...

hello again, this time i want to ask all of you what kind of problem did You have making a lotion or body butter with beeswax?? I find beeswax being a little challenging ,since it leaves this weird glob on top of my skin when I am trying to rub it in :twisted: .Some people say its too much...

I was trying to use it for my face serum as a thickener, but maybe Xanthan gum would work too

I made a lotion with natramulse as a emulsifier( which feels great), but 2 days later I noticed that its separated?? I dont have any idea why? Is it because the temp. of oil and water before mixing was not the same? This is my firs try of making o/w emulsions, and I am sure did something WRONG :x
