These have made me so happy - soaps from soap makers I love. Yvonne from Snoblove has been a long time on-line friend. Katie Mango (Bear River Soaps) I met in person a few weeks ago, the fragrances were irresistible.

I used distilled water when I lived in the desert and we had to, as the water was so crazy hard. We now have a well and that water works PERFECTLY! And tastes so much better. I figure if tap water works in your area, why make things harder? (Hard water... Dumb joke.) ;)

Big thank you! I support your desire to stencil on a soap. One of my nemesis has been labeling and wrapping soaps, due to the intricate tops I put on. I find it a please to label and wrap stenciled soaps. And so much faster. ;)

Where to begin... There is the thread that needs to be pulled to open up one's creativity. Start with basic shapes. The Wizard of Oz incorporates basics and more complex ideas. Indeed, it will work. If you want a saturated black I would use oxide. It's the only time I use oxides. :)
