Foodie scents - do you like them? Do they sell?

I love foodie scents! Especially chocolate and vanilla. And I like fruity scents as well. Don't like musky, powdery, or flowery :(

    Newbie tea question.

I used a chocolate tea for one of my batches...turned out terrible...smelled really bad. It's the only batch that I can't use...it sits in the basement in my storage room because I can't bring myself to throw it out :(

I haven't done anything soapy related in almost two weeks! I hurt my thumb...see the doc on Thursday. In the meantime, I'm living vicariously through all of you...so keep the pics coming :)

What soapy thing have you done today?

I found this hysterical! When I soap, in my mind I'm Walt :) What did you get at CoastalScents? Was it soapy related? I've only gotten makeup from there, so I'm curious.

Drops of lye on top of soap

I had soap a few weeks ago that had droplets all over the top. I was given the same advice...to zap test it. I think it was glycerine weeping out because there was no scent..I was too scared to zap test it. I waited a few days and it absorbed back in. I zap tested the soap since, and it was...

    First soap

Looks good! If you aren't opposed to it...try your same recipe but substitute lard for the Palm oil. My recipe is very similar to yours, except has the lard. It gives me plenty of time for swirls :)

    2nd /3rd Batches - And a few Questions

    3rd time lucky?

Have you heard of the spoon swirl? That may be something you can try if it gets too thick on you again.

Newbie here, be kind, first 3 batches

You made soap! All the pretty swirls and stuff will come with more experience. I really like the pink one :) I'm a newbie to and have found that even though I don't always get what I was aiming for, sometimes those happy accidents turn out just as great :)
