    Confetti Coffee Soap

Made this on Sunday, had a bad case of soda ash on top, but I like the final result after cut. It had a strange smell when I mixed the coffee and coconut oil with the lye, like the one when I made my honey soap. Something like cooked bean? No FO in it, so hopefully it will fade. I also added...

If all going according to plan, I'm going to Brazil to see the World Cup either in June or July. I didn't have the exact date yet. I'm not really familiar with the country, and even though I'm only there for a short while (3-4 days) and in a tour, I'll like a recommendation on local food...

    Imperfect soap

I was going to make the in the pot swirl soap with peppermint tea as colorant, didn't end up quite according to plan. My sandalwood FO was the culprit, but I still kinda like the final result even with all the imperfection. The surface is actually very smooth and waxy, unlike the picture.

Does anyone know what's the benefit for using tea as your liquid in CP soap? They changes the soap's color, but is it only for that? Is there an extra benefit like maybe extra cleanliness, moisturizing effect, etc? I know that green tea contains a lot polyphenol, and all the good stuff in...
