    Failed Again *Sigh*

It was really weird. The top had small cracks through it and was super hard, even to get the cutter through it. When it got midway through then it just crumbled. It seemed too dry to me. There was no softness to it :/

Thank you all for your suggestions. It really helps me :) Is there anything I can do with this crumbled mess? Can it be rebatched in the crockpot?

    Failed Again *Sigh*

I've made several batches of different soaps. The 2 hot process soaps I made didn't quite work. I've had some goat milk soaps work and some not. For this last batch I tripled the recipe to fit in a 4 lb. soap mold. All ingredients were measured on scale 23.7 oz. frozen goat milk 10.2 oz. lye...

    Ricing?

I'm starting to think I'm not cut out for the soap making gig..A couple have come out perfect, and then many have not. After I put the FO in the mixed oil/lye it started ricing pretty quick. I quickly stirred in the FO and poured into the mold. And alas, it looks like crap. Is this salvageable...

    Hot Process fail

The soap was made last night. Does it have to be shredded or can I cut into small pieces?

    Hot Process fail

I got the recipe on the internet. 36 oz. Olive Oil, 6 oz. coconut oil, 6 oz. lye, 12 oz distilled water..what do I do to rebatch it? Should I add more water to it?

    Hot Process fail

I'm new to soaping and researched a ton. I've done 2 batches of CP which came out really good. My first hot process was a fail. I did everything in the crockpot, and it got thick pretty quick. I put it in the mold but it seemed to be drying as fast as I put it in there. Is this a loss? What went...
