Isn't doterra the company that just received the huge "noncompliance" letter from the FDA & they & their resellers are under scrutiny?? There's a recent thread here somewhere. Just my humble 2 cents....I would not want my products anywhere near them. I tend to be very cautious about my business...

I use 1 teaspoon sodium lactate per pound of oils....added to the lye water. I had the same problems as you with the HDPE molds....I line them with freezer paper & no more problems. Soap comes out easily.
I do both cold process & glycerine (M&P) as well as using M&P embeds for my CP soap. It actually is much more work for me to do the glycerine soap. Done correctly, it is time consuming & can be quite a challenge. I would never compare M&P to baking from a box.....not the way I do it. You'll...

It's a fabulous moisturizing base...I use it for enbeds,samples, & small soaps but it's extremely soft. The block is soft & the soap is soft.....bendable soft. Their chemist says it's absorbing moisture from the air...
