I'm new soaper! MP only thus far, interested in bombs and butters. How do you measure ingredients calling for ounces - digital scale or cups/teaspoons or other?

New to MP I used wilton gel but found it fades! so now am using LaBomb colarant to much success. anyone know why wilton fades? is it something I did wrong? wilton is certainly an economical solution and readily available, LaBomb I must order online - I won't complain though cuz it's good...

what can I do with Almond Butter? I have about a pound of it, didnt' have a particular reason to purchase but don't want it to go to waste. Body butter? Sugar Scrub? Can I add it to MP base? Thanks!

I have 2 pounds of each Shea Butter and Almond Butter. I'm dying to do something fabulous with it. Any recommendations for a sugar scrub or body butter recipes? BTW, I'm totally new to bath/body and soap making.
