Dixie it smells like roses with their leaves crushed, a mellow after scent. The toner had Clary sage with the rose geranium and smelled fantastic. Yes, I agree Patchouli is redeeming.

Im going to use 7.2 g per 800 gram soap mold. That includes olive oil, coconut oil, rapeseed with citric acid to prevent DOS, and a few other oils and butters with Vitamin E. Happy soapmaking. Let us know the results.

Yes, peppermint is a good suggestion. It has a great smell and feels refreshing in soap when I have used it that way. Good idea.
