    Suppliers?

That's so sweet! Thank you so much DixieDragon!! I found a place called Rustic Escentuals. Anybody ever use them before? They seem okay on their prices, but, I haven't really priced many other places either. Since we're going to start as "hobby" soapers and revamp our candle company (after 2...

Thank you! He really seems receptive to it, which is a good thing.

    Suppliers?

Thanks guys! I really appreciate it! My husband is a wounded warrior and he's been deemed "unemployable" because of his brain injuries and severe PTSD, so, he's been in some SERIOUS funk here lately. Before he was in the military he went to school for Biology and Studio Art and is VERY...

    Suppliers?

This may have been covered before, but I did a search and didn't find anything. Where is a good place to find supplies? I would really like to get my husband into soaping (as well as myself obviously... LOL) and I would like to find places to get good supplies.

    Newbie questions

Okay... another newbie question.... how do I know the difference?? WSP has one called "detergent free." My daughter has really sensitive skin, so I don't want anything that is going to cause a reaction. Is the detergent free what I should look for?

Lol!! Both the kids now want to make chicken noodle soup soap now! Lol I have seen recipes for "teenager" soap too. I thought that would be really neat since most of my neices and nephews are teenagers or close to being teenagers. I figure that they would really like something to help keep...

    Newbie questions

Okay... I have The Chemistry Store and Aroma Haven in SC.... but none in NC. So... it wouldn't really save me a ton that way. :? Aroma Haven looks nice! I will have to check them out when I am not on my phone! Lol

    Newbie questions

Oooh! I haven't checked them out, but I will now! :-D I know Candle Science is only about 2 hours from here if that, but I've never even looked to see if they do soap stuff! Lol Thanks for the input. I don't want to be discouraged by my very first batch! I really do want to learn the...

    Newbie questions

That's another reason that I wanted to use WSP... their shipping is included in their price so there's no "HOLY CRAP! I can't justify spending that much for shipping!" situations. Is WSP not a good company?

    Newbie questions

Okay... so I'm researching things to make my way into soap making for the very first time. I figured since my 2 children want to learn soapmaking as well, that it would be easier for us to just start with M&P so there's no lye to mess with and less potential for a disaster to happen. :lol...

Thank you! I was weighing the options for both melt and pour as well as cold/hot process. I want to learn both, I know that for sure. Is MP "easier" since you're not working with the lye? Both of my kids want to learn as well and I don't even want to think of a 13 year old boy with ADHD and an 8...

So... I did some reading in the "business" section.... and after doing the reading, I'm going to make sure that I don't rush into selling my soaps! I honestly had no idea that it would be that hard to get into! I know that there are several local people that are soapmakers and I was going to see...
