Body wash from Castile soap bar help

Thanks! No, I'm really pretty sure it's the bar soap effect... using a bar soap vs a body wash has that friction feel without the lubricants they put in body wash. I want to add in some kind of lubricant to make the formula a bit slicker. I tried the olive oil last night. It helped but not...

Body wash from Castile soap bar help

I made a nice body wash from a plain Dr Bronners castile soap bar by shaving it and stirring it into some heated distilled water. I added aloe, jojoba, and some essential oils. I used Xantham to thicken, although I think I'm going to look for something better as that separated a bit. MY question...

BodyWash recipe - Palmolive Clean & Clear Dishwashing liquid

Re: BodyWash recipe - Palmolive Clean & Clear Dishwashing li Thanks. In the wash I made I used jojoba and 100% aloe. So far, it's left our skin feeling softer and healthier than ever! It's amazing how long the effects last. I'll keep an eye on long-term effect though.

BodyWash recipe - Palmolive Clean & Clear Dishwashing liquid

Does anyone have any opinion on this? I found a very simple recipe for body wash that uses Palmolive clean and clear dish liquid as a base. The clean and clear gets cut with Mineral water and then you can add in some goodies - aloe, jojoba, oils, etc. I'm interested in what your opinion is on...

    Two part question regarding verbena

Interesting point. I'm not really sure the smell I'm smelling IS verbena at all. I merely thought that because the bottle said "scented with fresh verbena". I was taking that to mean they intended to display what the fragrance was, but It seems more like they were listing it separately because...

    Two part question regarding verbena

I had an idea. Both the shampoo and condition smell identical. So, I cross-referenced the ingredients in both and comprised a list of only ingredients found in both products. They are: WATER/AQUA/EAU MORINGA PTERYGOSPERMA SEED OIL ALEURITES MOLUCCANA SEED OIL HONEY/MEL/MIEL AMODIMETHICONE...

    Two part question regarding verbena

Thanks for the replies. I am not particularly good at recognizing the ingredients that would give fragrance. The bottle does say "lightly scented with fresh verbena" but now that I think about it, I'm wondering if perhaps that is merely a way of listing the verbena used as an ingredient if it's...

    Two part question regarding verbena

First of all, hello to all. 1. I am very confused regarding verbena. I am noticing that is a less popular scent than the usual suspects - geranium, lavender, tea tree, etc. Mostly what I am seeing is reference to lemon verbena specifically. From what I have seen on the internet, it seems as...
