    Affordable and effcient colors?

Well, I just put in an order for some of the gel colors from Sweet Cakes. Gulp! They have a $25 minimum order, plus shipping was $39. I really hope these are as good as they claim, that is really more than I can afford to spend comfortably right now.

    Affordable and effcient colors?

Has anyone tried this company before? http://www.sweetcakes.com/default.php The prices seem very reasonable, but of course I don't know if the quality will measure up.

    did an experiment ???

Yes, I know there is the little note on there saying "Use only HE detergent in this machine" but I have never had a problem with it, and my machine is HE too. I think most of them are these days.

Plus they were expensive and...

I haven't heard of using seaweed in soap before. What are the health benefits of it? Thanks!

    Using spices in soap?

How would I infuse the spices in my olive oil? Does that just mean mixing the spices with my olive oil before adding it to the rest of the mixture? I always use some olive oil in my soap anyway, so that wouldn't change my recipe all that much.

    Using spices in soap?

I have read somewhere that you can use spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. for scenting and coloring your soaps. I thought this would be a great idea for Christmas soaps, but I have no idea how much to use or what spices are best. I was wondering if anyone else has done this? Could you give me...

    Fairly new soaper in Illinois

Hello everyone! My name is Myra, and I have been making goat's milk soap at home for about a year and a half, mainly for my family's use, but I hope to branch out into selling it also. The soap I have been making is lovely to use, but looks wise is super basic, and I hope to learn better ways...
