Hi guys.......been making soap for a while now,but not a lot of melt and pour. I made a batch for a customer,and my embeds floated like a cork. I made them months before and wrap them in plastic. Whats up? Thanks.

I just use olive oil and distilled water. Comes out a nice creamy color. No issues

I use a lot of matte oxide colors in my soaps with good results. The other day I bought a new color, (violet) and gave it a go. Good thing I tried it on a small batch first. For some reason, it colors the soap a really ugly shade of green/brown. Kinda like something one would find in a diaper. I...

One of my best soaps was using red palm oil. The butterscotch color looked awesome and the soap was great.

I trim mine as soon as I unmold it. I use a Titan peeler....The same tool I use to make embeds for my M&P soaps.....lol
