So....how do you keep down the panic

When it rains it pours.... But keep a note about what time your sales are increasing as well as what you are thinking right now about how to make it better for next year. Come spring/summer (or whenever it slows down again) you'll be wondering how you felt and having those notes will help...

    Don't touch my junk.

I do have to say it would be really funny to be selected for a pat down, only to mention to the worker that you just had a huge lunch with broccoli, tomatoes, a garlic-wine cream sauce and you have IBS....

TKB Trading posted CC info compromised

Thanks - it's no big deal, really when it comes down to it as no one was physically hurt (well, my heart didn't stop beating a mile a minute until I saw the money back in my account). The travel company refunded the money this morning, but refunded $1.47 less for some reason  I sent...

Honey + lye water = explosion (pics)

You could just wipe off the weeping as best as you can.

TKB Trading posted CC info compromised

OMG...well - I was one of the unlucky ones who got whacked by some creep! All was well, I was checking my account often and got no indication any of my information was compromised then BANG...email this morning from my bank saying "A withdrawal in the amount of $708.XX was taken from your...

Honey + lye water = explosion (pics)

I heat up the honey just until it's a more liquid-y consistancy then add it to the batch at trace. The only real issue I have ever had, and it isn't constant, is that the honey sometime pools up in the soap instead of blending in with everything.

    Don't touch my junk.

I don't mind this at all - as you said, if it ensures the safety of passengers, why not? However - the other side is that you never know who is patting you down or looking at your screen. How do you know some sicko/whacko isn't patting you down, looking at your personal information, like...

What most unusual item have you used as a mold ...

Not at all! I'm sure we'll come up with thousands of more ideas - especially with Christmas around the corner. Imagine us...at home unwrapping presents and our family members start picking up the trash (assuming pigs fly, of course!). All of a sudden we come out of nowhere yelling...

What most unusual item have you used as a mold ...

I see what you mean about the boobs - I have a 35 year old son, well, husband! I think it'd work though. Our son (who's actually 5) eats the dole mandarin oranges and the cups don't resemble that at all. You could always only pour them 1/2 full so they aren't as high. I was...

What most unusual item have you used as a mold ...

I was thinking the same thing, loveit_latherit - Newbie, you could color the base red and use the straws with black soap, then insert the whole thing into a green mold.

What do you do for Thanksgiving?

Deda - I wish they had a drool emoticon right now....

I may have gotten it right this time!

Thanks everyone! I got to say that I went overboard on the amount of mica used. I think I can really tone it down, but dang...I love the brightness! The molds are from The Soap Mold Superstore and I absolutely love them. I have to double up, though, because they are supposedly more for...

    Yikes!!

WOW - fantasitc! So what'd you end up using for your swirls? The purple for the darker swirls & let the wine color the rest of the base?
