    For bath melts I think you can use polysorbate 80, up to 20%. Not sure though.

    Jewelry isn't the same though. Soap is considered a cosmetic. It wouldn't be legal for us to sell on etsy or tradera or sell it in any way so it's a risk. In the end you decide what kind of risks you want to take.

    I meant ventilation, sorry. We do have a few soapers here. Less then 10 though. I don't know how much Läkemedelsverket checks up on everything. You could just register (costs a bit though 2000sek per year + 300sek per product) and soap at home but on your own risk. I'm not sure everybody follows...

    I thought about it but it's not possible for me right now. Not only do you need to register at Läkemedelsverket but you also need a safety assessment, save a sample from every batch of soap, mark everything with batchnumbers, be able to trace all you ingredients from every batch etc... Also...

    over mixing lotion/separation?

    Do you really need cetyl alcohol or stearic acid if your creams are thick enough? Shouldn't the emulsifier make a stable enough emulsion?

    I have! With Swedish white glögg. Not 100% but I poured some in my lye water. It will turn a darker color as the sugar will caramelize.

    What do you do with fats that are solid in room temperature? Do you melt them first?
