Wow. Beautiful. Didn't have as much luck. I had a lot of animals come in my yard this year and they ate a lot of my tomatoes and cucumbers . Hoping I have better luck next year.
Hello my fellow soapy friends. I came across this interesting article in a Canadian newspaper about how sales of commercial bar soap are declining in favour of liquid body soap sold in bottles. This reminded me of a co worker who told me that her husband is very "phobic" about bar soaps and...
I placed a small order from Canwax (just needed some Shea Butter) and they had it delivered the next day! (i think they are in mississauga and i'm in toronto). I didn't pay for express delivery, just regular Canada Post.

I want to make a kelp/seaweed soap batch for myself but I'm very worried that it will smell bad. Thanks for the tips. If I decide to do it I will add some citrus fragrance oil to it.
Can't believe how many people are copying this Etsy seller..

Thanks. Yes, I read about cutting right away. I used a mold with individual dividers--so I did not need to cut them, which is why I waited until the next day to unmold. Overall, the soap itself is not too "crumbly"--the soap actually broke because it got stuck to the divider :?
edited to add...
Thanks! Was a little nervous about what you all would think about it. Everyone here has posted pics of such beautiful soap. I hope I can eventually get it to look as good as some of the "pros" around here.
Hello Everyone,
I have always preferred CP soap and wanted to make it, but was wary about handling lye. I've made other cosmetics such as bath bombs and lip balm, but stopped making them lately. I started getting interested after my favourite seller increased both her prices for the product...
