What I did wrong! (Not reaching trace?)

HAHAHA! I am such a dumb!! <3333

I was really frustrated with my soaps not tracing even with a stick blender after ~45 minutes of blending (with pauses for the batter to resettle) even though I was using perfectly reasonable recipes that should have traced much quicker.

ALAS! Today I realized I had the 38% which was supposed to be in "Lye Concentration" in the Water % of Oil space!! I was using more than twice the amount of water I wanted to!

So... anyone else just starting out.. don't do what I did!! Now I dunno if my EVOO soap will ever cure, drenched with water as it is!!

At least you figured out what you did! Sometimes I just can't figure it out! Congrats on the "A HA" moment!
