Water/liquid reduction

Haven't made anything in 2 weeks because I'm recovering from gallbladder surgery. The last 4 batches, using soapcalc, I used full water (mms gave me a range and I would split the difference). Had to wait 2-3 days before unmolding and at least a week before cutting. So, I'm thinking of reducing the liquid from 38% to 30-33%. Would appreciate your thoughts on this.

Makes sense. But do watch out - I had a crumbly Castile because I waited too long but had reduced the water a little. Less water should well help with that, but of course be prepared for less time to play with the soap when it comes to colours and so on.

The next batch I'll reduce to 33% and see how that goes. I'll do a solid color or ITP swirl. The batches are curing nicely, considering how soft they were, and will get about a 4 month cure before market season starts.
