Hi everyone! Now that I have given away ALL my soap as Christmas presents I need to make more. Yay! I was looking through my stash trying to use up what I have and I came across some cornsilk powder. I have not used it and vaguely remember reading that it makes a difference in the soap's feel. Kind of the vegan version of tussah silk. I've done a site search but nothing came up. Has anyone had any experience using cornsilk powder? Thanks!

Here is a [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JasqULovqAc"]soaping 101 video[/ame] where she uses corn silk (not the powder). Sound interesting. Give it a shot.

Thanks! I went searching again this morning and did run across that video. That is probably where I got the idea. I would still like to see if anyone has actually used the powder. I'm going make a small batch of my regular recipe and see if I notice a difference.
