How much stock do you put in that #? I have spent most all day today putting different make ups of these 4 oils in: castor, coconut 76, lard and olive (plus a few others to change it up) and have yet to come up with a 60/40 ratio, close to 50/50 but not quite there.

This is the final one I have stopped at, that has most of the #'s close to what I think I want. I would really rather work it out on the calc first, since I already have a bunch of soaps, I'm just not quite happy with.

2 lb batch Hot Process 32% Water as% to Oils 7% superfat
Sat : Unsat 47:53

Coconut 76 - 25% 8 oz
Lard 55% - 17.6 oz.
Castor 5% - 1.6 oz
Olive 15% - 4.8 oz

H20/GM - 10.2 oz
Lye 4.4 oz.

Hardness - 45
Cleansing - 17
Conditioning - 48
Bubbly - 22
Creamy - 33
Iodine - 51
INS - 161

;) to make it more complicated; it's not all in the numbers.

The oils you picked are a very nice combo.
You could try:

22% coconut
20% lard
50% coconut
8% castor

Superfat 5 to 8%.

Makes a good basic recipe.

Thank you for your reply. For the 50% did you mean Olive?
