Just made a bean dip last night that went over well with my friends!
-2 15oz cans refried beans (I used Rosarita Reduced Fat)
-3/4 cup prepared salsa (I used Signature Cafe Mild, a fresh salsa from the deli section)
-1/4 cup mayo
-extra large dash cumin
-dash granulated onion
-dash garlic powder
-About 1 cup shredded cheese (I did just one large handful jack/cheddar blend).
Mix all except the cheese together until it's a smooth blend. If serving cold, mix in the cheese. If serving hot, put in the serving dish (casserole, crock pot, whatever) and put the cheese on top before heating.
I served it cold because we were meeting at a gaming store, and that was just easier.
