This is my tester peanut butter and chocolate (Reese's for my husband) bar.
It's worked fine and nice solid already at 18 hours, but I'm just curious about the white around the inner chocolate?
I don't mind it so much as it is an even form all around the choco,
but am curious what it likely is from? In case I don't want it again. Kwim?
It's a light creamy fat color kinda light chicken fat. Haha!

The white around the inner brown could be stearic spots. If that is sweat on the outside it could either be glycerin sweat or fragrance sweat. I would just wipe it off and forget it.

Maybe so. I used unsweetened in my chocolate and coconut bars but that was 75% Choco and didn't have the white around it.
The semi sweet is all I had now and used that. It does have cocoa butter but I'm wondering why it would have seperated if that's what it is. Choco was all mixed into the soap.

And there isn't too much perspiration at all.. Just a smidge but think its from warming after the fridge.

They remind me of the glycerin lines, but I wonder why they are just surrounding the brown part...

They are beautiful, the way it looks it seems to be something from the chocolate coming out..
