How to form loose herb powders into block?

I was on Lush and saw the solid henna block and I also visited this site and saw the solid rhassoul clay block.

How do they form these loose powders into blocks?

so could you do this with any solid butter?

how much? is there a technical term for this process so I could possibly look more into this or look at a video?

No idea, get to practicing. All I did was read the ingredients. I'm sure you could improvise and come up with your own recipe!
