Hello,
I am new to body wash making and have a question on how much essential oils should be added for 1 gallon of body wash soap.

Essential Oils being used
a) Eucalyptus
b)Eucalyptus Peppermint
c) Lavender
d)Sandalwood
e) Lavender Vanilla

Thank you for your help.

Check the supplier's website. They usually will provide the maximum safe percentage rate for each EO or FO in each type of product, soap, lotion, body wash, etc.

Are you using a premade body-wash base? If so, check the supplier's website for the max scent load.

or

Did you make the bodywash yourself using a recipe with KOH? Typically the max scent load is going to be around 1% unless you include an emulsifier, or a solubilizer like PS 80.

Either way, as @lsg noted, you also need to cross-check these amounts with the safe usage rate for the specific FO or EO that you are using. For EOs, a good reference is EOCalc.com, where you can put in your own blends to get safe usage rates for different products.

As an aside, if you bought a product that is labeled as Lavender Vanilla EO, it is a fake and probably adulterated, because there is no such thing as a vanilla EO. And if you bought a product labeled as Sandalwood EO, you are either extremely wealthy, or you bought a fake, adulterated product that is some form of fragrance oil, not essential oil. Real sandalwood EO is hideously expensive.
