how long to cure before felting?

Yes, I have 2 little boys and I was thinking it would be good for them since they're always dropping the soap into the bath water. I just worry a little that they'll pick the felt off if a bit of it comes loose. I haven't had them test one out yet.

When I've made felted soaps, they pretty much don't have any loose bits -- if there is a little tag end, I clip or pull it off and felt that area a bit more. But even if a kid would happen to get a bit of the felted wool and swallow it down, I doubt it would cause digestive troubles -- at least not as much havoc as a good bite of soap! Just my opinion, though....
