I tried this method for the first time 2 weeks ago. I made a bastile 80% OO, 10% CO, and 10% PO. I used chamomile EO and ground cardamom for the scent, no color. It is a yellow green bar and smells so clean and fresh. It is very hard already and has only been curing for 2 weeks. Is this typical for CPOP?

I think this is typical for a high olive oil CPOP. I still cure for as long as I can before using as it only improves. You can test it earlier though.

I cure my cpop the same as regular cp. I don't believe that oven processing cuts down on the cure time as many people seem to think. I think it simply ensures a complete gel.

I agree that since your recipe has high olive...let it have a nice long cure. Maybe try a bar at 4 weeks and see how you like it. Then try one at 8 weeks and I bet you like it much better!
