I decided to add a sea salt brine to my recipe in hopes of getting a harder bar. Well it worked big time. I waited a day as usual to cut the loaf and it fractures when I try to run a knife through it. I assume I should have been checking it and cut it sooner? Now what. Warm it up help? Build a piano string cutter? Any help would be appreciate.

I always use cavity soap molds for soap made with salt. As you have discovered the soap hardens quickly. The only advice I can think of is to rebatch the soap and pour it quickly into cavity molds.

Or, grate up the pieces and add to a new batch of batter (I hate to rebatch).

Also, if you're having trouble getting through it with a blade, a wire cutter is probably going to snap the wire.
