Goat milk lye and gelling

Sorry but somehow most of this post went missing and the one picture that remained did not go with the words. So I took it off and will repost if I can figure out what went wrong!

I can't seem to delete the picture but it definitely not the one that belongs. If a mod would take it off for me that would be great. But I'll keep trying.

That may well be the case, but my milk soap turns dark when gelled. Now I always stick milk soap in the freezer as soon as it goes in the mold.

I freeze my milk, and add my lye slowly. i let it gel. my soaps didn't seem like it turned very dark at all... like a light beige colour.....
