Glycerin

What if I put some pure glycerin in CP soap? How much? Where to put it - in the oils, in the lye solution or in the trace?

I would mix it with the oils. I read before that 1-2 tsp PPO is a good amount, I keep meaning to add some to my soap but I always forget.

What does extra glycerin do for soap? My sister bought me a bottle a while ago but I haven't messed with it yet.

In the lye solution. It wouldn't dissolve in the oils.

I add my glycerin to to my oils it mixes fine as soon as you add the lye water. If I do add it I just use a tablespoon or so per 54 oz batch.

I think glycerin helps with the bubbles. It is also used as a humectant in lotions, creams and shampoos.
