I exhibited at my first fair this weekend. It was a long day and a lot of hard work, but I really enjoyed it!!

I managed to make back my stand fee, hire costs and a little extra. I am not complaining as it was a first try at a big fair.

Next one is on the 31st October and fortunately I still have ample stock left over :)

Tried to load pictures, but it wont seem to let me, so I have placed direct links. Any comments or advice on my set up? p.s. Mom had a few items of leaded glass work to sell, so shared my space .

Congratulations on your first show. The main recommendation I would make on your setup up is to lose the printed fabric. You products are getting completely lost with the bold pattern and color. I understand why you picked the fabric, but I find solids so much better and less distracting. Get mom to make you some display pieces, even a plate you could display on a stand, with a Celtic Rose!! I always keep my main attraction products on my main tables and my miscellaneous items, such as some of my Hubby's metal art and my crochet hats on a table by themselves, slightly off from my main tables. With playing you would be surprised how many tables you can get into a 10x10 booth. Even after 5 yrs I find my booth is still work in progress

Thanks all. I am still very happy with how it went, even two days later and a lot of thinking!!

Ok so lose the printed fabric. . .CHECK. . ..could I replace it with a lighter solid color on top of the white? I find white so.. . . . .boring and there is a LOT of white on the tables.
