Is there a calc out there that will help figure how much water to add when diluting soap paste? I am bad at math and always check everything with a lye calc more than once lol :) Anyone have any tips or simple guides to dilution? When I see things online saying " for every ## lbs use a ##% for dilution" sorry to say my brain shuts down. :?

Thanks!

I have only been making liquid soap for a few months but what I have read is 1 pound of paste and 2 pounds of water for dilution. My soap is thin but after using 33% Borax solution my soaps are nice and thick like a shower gel.

thanks, my first one I followed a recipe, mine is very think still.

Do you use borax for neutralizing ?

I can tell you how I dilute my soap, but since it's not borax I use, not sure if it would be confusing for you. Since borax is also thickening.
